summer is progressing slowly but surely. i sleep all day and stay out all night, which comes with a price. i am constantly tired and out of step with the hour and day. regardless, hanging out with the BSC has been beyond fun. i love all my ladies and our ever-present motto is 'every night is ladies night.' true to form, every night starts with all of us getting together and party party party. i like that, once again, a new group of friends is forming. what i don't like is that some of us are growing apart and some of us have lost touch with each other completely. it's such bullshit. just because you get into something different, change your lifestyle, or want new things out of life doesn't mean you need to trade in your friends for new ones that mirror your new choices 100 percent. the whole point of friendship is that it is supposed to withstand time, not fade in and out with change.
nylon magazine has single-handedly got me back into female fronted bands. le sigh.

nu (metal) blog
so it's been awhile since I have posted. This is due to the fact that caitlin's cat, oslo, is determined to ruin everything i own. she, amongst other thingd, knocked over an entire glass of water onto my laptop. it completely fried the motherboard and if i even try to turn it on, the monitor displays an eerie lightshow and it emits frightening noises. the only time i can get online is if there is a computer lab where i am working, or i have to go to the library. currently i am working at sanger hall and much to my happiness, they have a lab. what is sanger hall you say? what must i do there you wonder? well, sanger hall is a medical building for mcv students and is located across the street from said hospital. it boasts 12 floors which include and is not limited to, animal testing, autopsy and morgue floors. now you may think that this is interesting, but my job is to walk on said floors for 8 hours. for those of you that think this is cool, it is not. the animal testing floors smell like death, the autopsy floors smell like formaldehyde and the morgue floor is just plain creepy.
anyways, if you think i'm cool and you read this and you want to hang out and you keep commenting on my myspace, or my facebook, or my blog, well quit it. i will most likely not be able to see it for some time. call me instead! 7577485632
i am off to find some dead bodies and potentially look at them! laterr

adults in college
so i am in the library, passing the time until my physics class at 12. i figured i would stay down here and play on the computer since my phone decided that it could work no more. i have no concept of time and i don't even know what the date is. but the better topic of conversation is a guy right beside me, doing some math problems. he is obviously middle aged and very distraught about the current problem he is working on. he routinely rakes his hand aggressively through his hair, uttering curses under his breath. sometimes he is so overcome with passion that he says 'damn!' really loud and everyone turns around to look at him. when he isn't venting his frustration through verbal rants, he gets pretty violent with his pencil sharpener, picking it up and slamming it onto the counter top. HAHA! oh shit, he just started punching his own chest, right where his heart is. i think he is symbolizing how math is currently wrecking his heart. why can't they get along? why must math be so cruel? he even got a tutor to better understand his tricky friend. does that mean nothing to math? apparently not. he has now given up and is now putting way the math book, closing up the notebook, and stuffing the very abused pencil sharpener into his pocket. now he is looking at war pictures on google images. i guess google is catering to his currently inflamed emotions. i know that when i get angry, i love to look at pictures of wartime and imaging the warring sides as me and whatever is bugging me. i am quite sure that he is invisioning that math is pearl harbor and he is the japanese, bombing the shit out of it. maybe the pencil sharpener is of the u.s. aircraft carriers that is capsizing. one can only guess
